How to get in the right headspace

How did you go with your wellbeing goal this week?

Do you feel as good as you did after a long weekend, or are you exhausted because you worked harder to make up for the one day you had off?

If you feel exhausted, then it’s imperative that you take the weekend off to reset and get yourself in the right mindset for Monday morning.

Getting in the right headspace will give you more confidence in the decisions you’re making, help you solve problems quicker, and make you more productive overall. It will also help deal with the dreaded Imposter Syndrome.

In the movie Collateral, Jaimie Fox’s character has a photo of an island on his sun visor that he looks at every time he needs a moment to escape. It helps him get into the right headspace and deal with the customers in the back.

Use this weekend as your island photo. If you completed your wellbeing goal, then great job!

Take a moment to think about how you’re going to keep this momentum going next week.
